Heritage Automotive is owned by March/Hodge Automotive and was founded in May of 1998 when Tony March and Ernest Hodge decided to combine efforts in order to expand from two small businesses into one larger and more opportunistic venture. The result became an extremely successful privately owned dealership company. With headquarters in Tampa, Florida, the company began expanding well into the southeastern and northeastern United States. Today, March/Hodge Automotive owns Heritage Automotive in Georgia, Rockland Automotive in New York, and a number of dealerships in Maryland and Massachusetts. March/Hodge is also a minority owner of Montrose Westside Automotive in Cleveland, Ohio.
When the company was founded in 1998, Tony and Ernest envisioned a company that would represent the business and its manufacturers with unwavering excellence and integrity. In order to achieve this, they decided to adhere to three founding principles: strive towards 100% customer satisfaction, provide an environment that promotes excellent employee relations, and to support the communities in which they reside.
